Fished Ferguson St at dusk (high tide was 1840) on Monday, hoping that the snapper were about. Picked up a 37cm flathead right on high tide, on the shallow side of the private marina section on a 2.5" Zman Grub in motor oil. No other bites in two hours. Got a chance to head over the spur and check out some small mountain streams i'd been planning on fishing. The weather was perfect. i was up the Goulburn on Monday and Tuesday last week after opening and saw at least five head fished washed up, don't think they handled the change so well. me personally i'd like to catch smaller wild trout rather than stocked monsters.
