Ditto.
Inox is the go. Doesn't dry up like other sprays and is great for wiping down rods and reels. I have a clean cloth soaked in Inox to wipe down just about everything and keep in a zip lock bag.

I worked at a tackle shop servicing reels a few years back and i learnt from a guy in Coffs Harbour that a good quality marine or boating grease mixed with Inox to slightly thin out worked best. Sorry smile but wd40 dries up and becomes gummy over time and it's not recommended. Inox is the go.

In the patto river this morning and the water was very muddy. Normally would clean my fish at the ramp using river water but not today. I wonder if this fresh push will do anything?

Fished straight out from Carrum in 18 metres. Had 19.4 degrees water. Sounded around, found a few arches and dropped the pick. 6am my rod had a tickle and i picked it up thinking a flathead. Gave a few winds and got a decent bend in the rod and then it took off. 4 minutes later 71cm snapper. Not a b...
