Yella's take most small to medium lures, one of the most effective ways to catch them is bobbing logs with a hook loaded with live shrimp, if there are any near the log your are targeting they wont take long to strike Bobbing eh? Haven't caught a yella in a while, wondering what you guys use (including lures).

edit: Mainly fishing Murray or surrounding rivers and lakes in the wimmera.
