I unfortunately dropped a 70+cm jewie on Saturday night 100m before going under the westgate, the hook fell out as I went for the net. Great to know they are there though.

That's a great reminder to all. I too think that my boat is better passing at speed, nothing ***** me more than a boat slowing down just to pass "to do the right thing" and throwing out a huge wake. I recon they're great reels, do a lot of jigging with a 25k and an 18k and have 10k too. Cheap enough and smooth and strong, I got a couple of extra spools for the 18k to make it more versatile, 80lbfor jigging/trolling, 50lb bottom bashing and 40lb for off the beach. Does anyone own a Shimano Stella and can tell me if they are worth the high price? If you go by price (say a 4000 size), would it be 4 times better than a Stradic, or 15 times better than a Sienna?
