Re: another zero session at Lilydale
I have seen many people take more than their fill from these stocked lakes. It is just not right, but they are seldom patrolled. It's a shame, particulaarly the stocking before school holidays when the kids head out for a chance to catch something, and instead you see peolpe walkingg away from a ses...

another zero session at Lilydale
Another day and another session at Lilydale with no end results. Threw around a range of Tassie devils at the dam wall but nothing even looked like striking. Spoke to a few of the bait soakers working around the lake and they were have on joy either. A couple of warm days coming might help produce s...

Re: New Jigs = Squiding Tonight!
Thanks FC - will keep it in mind and see what the next few weeks bring, maybe I can squeeze in a trip and try my luck.
Have the squid jigs at the bottom of the tackle box, might as well get them wet.

Re: Rowville lakes
I think I would be double checking before I headed in for a fish at Lysterfield, I'm 99% sure it is a no fishing location, but I could be wrong. Dropping pressure may have been the reason, it was probably the worst session i have had there in a long time. Will go back again soon, it's all about pers...

Re: New Jigs = Squiding Tonight!
There seems to be the usual differance of option on the best time to catch Squid - what is the general feeling - Day or Night? As a teenager I caught them during the day off Tathra wharf. And a couple of years ago at Warrnambool of the break water during the day. Excellent fun for the kids watching ...

Re: Casey Fields Trout?
Rowville last night - pink, green, orange, silver ..... colour after colour and not even a sign of getting a hit. Switched to spinners and still no joy. But warm night, a little drizzle and the lake all to myself, nice and quiet, all up a good way to finish a day....a few fish would have been even b...

Re: Rowville lakes
Another couple of hours at Rowville tonight and no joy. Tried several colors of tassie devils but not even a bite. But nice and quiet, no one else fishing there and the weather was just prefect.
It was a good way to finish the day.
