Re: Reddies on lure from the Yarra this afternoon

Ive been having some luck recently with the Zmans on reddies in the local river, Found it best to just find shallow drowned Snags, close to the bank and cast around that, also around over hanging tree bases, and overhanging banks.

Re: Which Surface lure to Get?

The Savage gear Rats have an awesome action, look about as realistic as possible, I have the big size, find it a bit heavy to cast with but the smaller should make it easier.

Jigs

Hi all, Been watching a lot of the American Bass Fishing on youtube recently and see them nailing fish after fish on jigs, and I think the Reddys will love them. I went paddleboarding there on a school camp in October, The widest open pool near the boat ramp has some nice sized bream there from what I Saw. Also a few Mullet.

Re: 2016 cod opening!

Water at Echuca is still looking pretty black, Goulburn is looking fantastic, a lot of small cod being pulled out at the junction, meant to be boats galore there atm so its coping a hammering. I fished around yambuna on Saturday, trying to get a yella or 2 ended up with a 48cm Cod on a spinnerbait, ...
