Re: Lilydale Lake 10/6/20 Fishing Report
I used to fish there a lot when they released trout. Never had any luck. Emerald lake was much more productive for me. I have seen trout caught at Lilydale on power bait and worms but not on my rods.

Re: Tailor
Caught a few a month back and after bleeding them and keeping in ice slurry for the day trip my mate prepared them for sashimi with Japanese soy sauce and wasabi. It was very good. I usually only do fish cakes or bait with them otherwise.

Re: Calling all PC Nerds!!!
I have found the guys at scorptec.com.au pretty good to deal with in person and their prices are usually very close to the best available on the internet. They have a few stores around Melbourne and a good website for designing/pricing a new build. I used to be in IT but I’m 10 years out of practice...

Re: Corona Virus Part 3
But but but what if everything they tell us about the tracking app is “non core” policy. Out of curiosity, if a virus tracking app is released in Australia, who here (FV) will use it and who won’t? For me, well, I’ve already bought a burner phone, but then, I’m paranoid, at least that’s what my psyc...

Re: Camping Regulations Q's Lake Tyers
Not sure about the first 2 Q’s as I’ve always stayed at the caravan park because I’m soft and like hot showers. There are camp grounds around the lake though. I have seen many old fires around the lakes edges so I guess people have them. Fishing the edges is productive. Boat is better as you can cov...

Pillies are good eating if you can get some that have been caught and kept in good quality. deep fried white bait is awesome too. Aaaah, Mike, you have brought back some nice memories. Yes, deep-fried whitebait are awesome. I haven't had them for over 15 years. The medium size ones are the perfect ...

Re: Might Clarify a few things.
I just don’t get it. Stay home unless it’s essential to go outside your home. It highly unlikely that a fisherman or woman would help spread covid19 when they fill up with petrol or buy bait or snacks from the shop on the way to and from fishing (hay, lots drop into Bunnings while we are out) but t...
