I’d rather fish in a puddle than fish around the pines. Try anchoring in 18 between the grange and the pipe if your after a gummy. And remember the early bird gets the worm

Re: Fishing line for snapper

As others have said maxima is great mono. I’d hardly put it in the same class as Jarvis walker line though. I’ve used ultra green and the fibre glow. Both been great. Won’t go wrong with it for mono.

Re: Season Starter.

So many places so little time :fish22: :water:[/quote] That’s always the toughest call. Where to try. If only I had more time. Yeah your on th...

Haven’t fished the Dargo for a while. Was up there few weeks ago but just driving through. This time of the year I normally like to fish the Mitchell around Lindenow and Glenaladale area. Plenty of snow melt in the rivers. I’m assuming your obviously talking trout

Re: Lakes entrance run 28/7

Looks like the reefs are firing, for my future reference, what type and size hooks are you using? I generally use 3/0 circles but I think it will be a struggle to hook jackets with these. Cheers Ango. Hey mate mostly in winter I use a 2/0 or 3/0 kl circles. Works fairly well on everything down ther...

Re: Lakes entrance run 28/7

Cheers fellas. Yeah I love eating jackets. Only just started filleting them recently. Gee no idea why I've been doing them whole all this time so much better. Much prefer them over snapper. Very over rated IMO.
