Re: Barwon river donuts
Pity about the lack of action, I've always had more success from low tide onwards casting into the deeper channels.

Re: Upper Coliban. Reservoir
Just saw a report on Facebook from Saturday Blue.
Apparently the guy had no luck on lures but picked up a solid brown (had a photo to go with the report, was a nice fish) on worms under a float.
Definitely worth a try!

Re: Upper Coliban. Reservoir
Haven't heard any recent reports but from what I've seen it seems to hold a fair amount of trout and reddies. If you're using bait then I imagine scrubbies on the bottom or mudeyes under a float would be your best bet. If you're luring, I'd be trying a range of lures such as spinners, wobblers, smal...

Re: Noosa 2015
Early Friday morning I went back to the Sand Bags area, using bigger lures in hope of catching something big. The wind was pretty strong and blowing right in my face which made fishing difficult, so I didn’t end up getting anything. On the way back, however, I found a more sheltered spot: 11737045_1...

Re: Noosa 2015
I spent the first few hours of the morning flicking lures and plastics along a sandy stretch of the river known as the 'Dog Beach', but only ended up hooking (and losing) one fish on a 3" easy shiner, despite the fact that there were heaps of these in the water: 11715837_10205880069098952_654737229_...

Noosa 2015 (Long report, lots of pics)
Hi Guys, just got back from my annual 10 night trip to Noosa in Queensland so heres the report, enjoy. So, after a painfully boring 2.5 day car trip over the first few days of the holidays my family and I finally arrived at my favourite place in the world, Noosa Heads. I was a bit worried about the ...
