Make up a housing the length you want out of 100mm PVC pipe, fill it and freeze contents.
Empty the frozen log into a vacuum seal bag and vacuum seal. Burley logs ready to go
Thanks mate, I might give this a try.

Don't think 2L milk bottles will fit in the burley pot I use.

Burley Bags

Got two chest freezers full of old bait, frozen bait fish etc so rather than chucking it all out I’m thinking to motorise the burley mincer and make up some logs.

Does anyone know where you can purchase cylinder style plastic bags or rolls?

Re: 2021 Snapper Season

Has anyone else started prepping for this years Snapper Season or is it just me? It's looking like we'll be in and out of lockdowns until Christmas so I'm thinking I'll start hitting the water whenever I can regardless of the water temp (fingers crossed in the next week or 2!) So did you stock up o...

Re: Circle hooks, braid, mono, baitrunners?

Bait runners have a suited purpose for drifting baits and making it feel as natural as possible as for a fish… but if you are looking for an the easy no fuss hook up that a circle hook offers then a bait runner is working against you.

Got mine paired with a Stradic ci4 and works well. Can’t go wrong.

Re: Sephia BB or Emeraldas X?

I’ve got the BB in the 8’6? Version and have no issues. It’s definitely quite stiff but I rate this especially when it’s used as a whiting rod!
