Wendouree in Ballarat has been producing some nice rainbows on lures and mudeyes over the past few weeks. About a 40 minute drive from Bacchus.

A few weeks ago I put up a report of some reddies I'd been catching in a local dam. Headed there again for the first time in a while today. Nice one. Was planning on heading out that way tomorrow in the yak but with a 37 degree forecast I might have to change my plans so somewhere down on the coast.

......haven't been myself because I don't see the appeal but apparently the ground is now covered in dead fish and the place reeks of rotting carp.
