Re: Building home with the big builders (Henley, Metricon, Simonds etc).

It's simple if you have a good supervisor and a set of good trades you may get a good job. But it also depends on how much a supervisor is allowed to pay for good tradesmen. Most of the stickers your talking about the tradesman takes them off if he thinks the defect is not that bad.If it were me buil...

Re: WYNDHAM HARBOUR

I know the one you are talking about Station pier,so he was allowed to catch 6 big reds. I think fishos should be forsed to scale down on rods when there are too many ppl fishing to 2 rods.

Re: Your Boating History

You were born lucky Stelvio,we did not get a boat till 50 years from when i was born, allway piers and putting up with smaller catches, and alot more travelling to different piers. The kids at school with dads that had a boat would brag about their catches compared to our catches. We still had fun as we...

Re: Reel time fishing charters

I keep telling people if you only intend going fishing on your own 5 to 10 times a year it is worth paying the price and going on a charter. Maintaining a boat is not cheap--- rego, insurance, services, bait etc. $70-$150 for charters may seem expensive at the time but still way less than maintaining a...

Re: Illegal calamari catch prosecuted- Fisheries Media Release

That's great.I have always wondered when fisheries confiscate boat equipment and even cars,do they get any of these items back at all. There are many vehicles out there still on HP . Do the courts just sell or auction them.Do any of the offenders try to appeal the decision,so they can get their stuff...
