Re: PEACOCK BASS IN QUEENSLAND

[quote="4liters"]Probably either some aquarist releasing pet fish that got too big to keep in a tank, or some local f****** stocking waterways with a 'better' angling species[/quote Not that easy to do. Many aquarium fish such as the peacock bass (cichlid) have been banned imports for many years. If...

Re: Brighton Soft Plastics Session

Ended up with a decent pinky which busted itself off just as it came into view. Apart from the rain it was good fun, and im still chas...

Re: Snapper/ pinky season

I love fishing for pinkies on light tackle using lures. My fav time of year is Autumn and early Winter. I fish from a boat but if i was land based I would prefer on shore winds...if you are bait fishing, rough weather and strong winds bring pinkies and snapper in close. I hear the jetty and car park...

Re: Bream and trout rods under $100

I think the Pflueger trions are great value.
Daiwa generation blacks...also Complete Angler makes up a daiwa rod on a gen black blank that is usually $99
Shimano Catanas
I prefer a 1 pc rod to get the best out of the action. Just a little bit harder to travel with.

Other than having difficulty ov...

Re: Ohhh ... We're from Tigers Land .. 2017

I'm here. 7 times before the game I took a dump. So anxious. Shaking, tense. Every emotion known to man. I cried at the siren. Unashamedly admit I balled my eyes out like a baby. There is no shame in wearing your heart on your sleave mate. Any Tigers game when they play those drums and do the cout ...
