Just pour some vegetable or olive oil into the drum. It stays on top of the water and starves the wrigglers of oxygen.

My grandparents had 5 acres on top of the hill above Golf Links Rd the views were incredible. My grandfather was an engineer at the oil bore at Lake Bunga.

I've also caught a couple of KGW in Docklands on Gulp worms while chasing Bream.
The weirdest thing I've caught is a Mantis shrimp in Docklands on a live Mullet while fishing for Jewies. :)

There's a free carpark under the Bolte Bridge at the end of Docklands Drive. Easy kayak launch there too.

Another thing that will determine distance is how full your spool is. Anything over about 2 mil of lip will have a detrimental affect on you distance. If you find you cant fill your spool with the length of braid, take the braid off and start filling the spool with mono to take up the space required...
