Re: Those Dirty Trailer Rollers
All trailers flex. Skids and bunks don't have much give to deal with the flex and puts load on the hull. Also the for in ng equals rubbing with skids and bunks which wears away gel coat. Rollers are better for the hull (if you have enough rollers) as the rollers have shock absorption. Rollers easie...

Re: Those Dirty Trailer Rollers
Change to skids and never look back. So this is a 100% common issue with all rollers and fibreglass hulls ? If so my next trailer definitely will be a skid trailer. Between dirty rollers, uneven rollers and all the extra bits that need corrosion upkeep, what a bunch of malarkey. One good feature is...

Re: Bleeding gummy's
I used to own a shark boat off SA. We never cut the head but used to cut the throat in opposite way you would normally (down the fish instead of horizontally across, then cut off the dorsal fin at the base and cut a 45' angle off the top of the tail. Making sure all blood is out of them before packi...

Re: Sedona 3000 Reel?
Hi folks, I was after a new reel for bream, whiting, trout etc, and I've seen a Shimano Sedona 3000 for $87.00. Unfortunately they don't have any 2500 left and apparently the only difference between them is a larger spool size on the 3000. I am going to use it on a 3-6kg, 6 foot, one piece whiting ...
