Re: Finally its here!

For me the $$$ issue is only a minor thing. The reliability, quietness, ease of starting, and peace of mind is good enough for me. The $$$ savings is just a bonus. Same I absolutely enjoy the fuel savings, but just as much the quietness, lack of fumes and the smoethness of starting it so easily. I ...

How well the motor starts when you are manually controlling choke and throttle with variable back pressure isn't a reflection on reliability. The last of the carby 2 str...

The tune must have been shocking on your seafarer, they are a very efficient hull an use normally 1.2-1.4km.lt.
Was more to do with the thirsty Johnson 2 stroke, was 12 years old whrn we traded it in

Re: Finally its here!

Well there is now 24 hours on the motor, taking it down for its first service on Tuesday. Can't fault the yamaha, has run perfectly (as it should!). I have noticed the slight increase in the effect of wind, with the hard top catching it, but it still hasn't really been a problem because the yamaha i...

Welshpool report

Ended up bagging out on the squid in about 45 mins, they were everywhere, big ones! No luck on the snapper, couldn't even r...
