Are you fishing close in then, I wasn't sure if a long cast to the deeper water was the way to go.

Much better weather to catch nothing, not like freezing them off sitting on the beach in Feb hoping for a cod.

I was on the east coast about 50km from London. Lot to learn about fishing here. Used to 4knot tides and 6oz weights. Well used to the donuts though☺

Just moved back from the UK. Have been taking the nipper to blind bight and catching lots of small salmon and some decent mullett. Now want to catch something that pulls back. Cheers Dezza

Thanks for the info, going to give it a cast this weekend. Never fished the Martha rocks before. Been fishing western port with the kids but want to have a crack at the snapper.
