Re: Rovex Squid Wrangler review
thanks for the review, do they come in smaller sizes? so that i can use one on the boat.my current squid rod is a 8'6 i think, bit hard to use on the boat but very good landbased also a proper squid rod will be too parabolic in action to use as a proper plastics rod as you will have trouble setting ...

Re: aldi braid
i have used it and have caught some decent fish on it, including all 19 of my soapies, so its pretty good stuff. you cant compare it to the better stuff available nowdays, but for $10 i would buy it anyday. i remeber i paid $30 for it about 4 years ago, and that was the cheapest available braid when...

Re: How to remove stains on boat
im not sure how the Oxide is Protecting??? oxidisation is the decaying or wearing out of the alloy. how is that protecting the tinny? saltwater will bugger the tinny up regardless, just a matter of time, which is why cleaning it is very important. i would wash it with some sort of wash and wax mayb...

Re: Lowrance Elite 9. Settings for sonar and downscan
they are both separate and you need to be in the appropriate type to adjust it. downscan parameters only available when downscan selected sonar only when sonar selected. theres some that are universal, like shallow water, freshwater type setting, surface clarity i believe, and few others. all the ot...

Re: Lowrance Elite 9. Settings for sonar and downscan
they are both separate entities but share some stuff as far as i know. i believe things like surface clarity stay between the two. downscan has 2 frequencies and sonar has a few which are independent of each other. downscan isnt very adjustable, sonar you can play around a bit more. someone who has ...

Re: How to remove stains on boat
gee, looks like a lot of work.
i just hose mine down at the car wash with the high pressure soap, then high pressure rinse.
but mines a Poly Boat so its a lot easier.
maybe have a look at the ct18 truckwash, been hearing some good things about it
