Re: Boat Advice

I'd look at a half cabin but my missus likes the bow seats so that's all I get for this boat. I've found a couple fishing boats that I would love but I have to compromise to keep the finance manager happy. I'm very cautious on fishing down that way, if it doesn't look perfect, I just go another day.

Re: Boat Advice

Anyway.... Start at 26k whilst keeping the budget up to asking price. The upholstery looks good (thousands if everything needs redoing), canopy looks alright, overall it looks in good nick. The only issue although minor, HPDI stands for high pressure direct injection, whilst the yammies don't have ...

Re: Boat Advice

Yeh nah your definitely right mate got no idea iv only brought 3 second hand bow riders.. this time of year everyone pays top dollar it’s a real ...

Re: Boat Advice

The biggest thing with any purchase, is due diligence, and you seem to have done that Millzee. As far as price goes, there's not much in the way of searching past sales for these boats. For me, the style of boat wouldn't suit, But sounds like it's the perfect fit for you, with you mentioning family...

Re: Boat Advice

Hi Mate We have a 5.85 adventurer. Not sure how similar they are but can vouch for the Caribbean build and ride quality. Can say if I was going off shore I wouldn’t be to keen to do it in a bow rider due to waves coming over the front... unless it was flat tacker. Cheers mate, great to know. I'm pr...

Re: Boat Advice

I looked at the Haines and I'd be looking around the high 30's to low 40's for anything similar and all the engines are fuel thirsty Saltwater series ect. I'm negotiating a price that includes a rocket launcher, rod holders, snapper racks and all the small superficial imperfections to be sorted out....

Re: Boat Advice

I've searched a lot for a week or so, been driving me nuts, lol. The only review I can find is by the Fishing Monthly mag back in 2011, they seemed to think it's a good fishing boat too but I can't find any video footage a them and only a couple pictures in the water. From what I've found on the mar...
