Re: Is It Hard To Fish From A kayak?

I got a friend that spent even more than that on a yak plus heeps of homemade stuff, he calls it the ultimate fishing machine. He goes out in all sorts of weather with no fear, and wears a full on wet suit. He always catches good fish, but once got caught out on the Rip on just a normal day, and nee...

Re: Is It Hard To Fish From A kayak?

Interesting topic, and yes you can catch fish with the right setup. You don't need to spend big money on a Kayak to catch fish. Well mine is under one k new and it does me fine. I only go out 3-5 hundred meters off Werribee in calm weather and rivers and lakes. If i wanted to go out further and a bi...

The last bust up of Salmon I experienced was at Station pier, wow they were 2 meter from pier and huge, we caught 4 each, most were lost as they broke the line, net was not available ,wasn't expecting that.

Nice catch there. How do you find fishing that pier on or around full moon days, as i really don't catch on a full moon, and also low tides. I was going to go fishing this morning, but the windy conditions turned me off and also full moon.

Fish the Goulburn at Murchison, you can camp right on the river. Access is good and the fishing is great too.
Nice peaceful spot, I didn't fish when i went but others caught fish on boats and even on land.

Re: Covid Vaccine

No jab for me as yet,my parents have had the first and no problems so far. I have no intention getting any of the jabs, till at least one of the 3 Specialists i see regularly gives me the OK,and they haven't as yet.

PS Does anyone know what you are signing when you get the jab.
