Re: Mornington pier report

There's still a few yakkas and tommy roughs around, good fun on light gear but not easy to catch. Go really light, unweighted with tiny hooks. I think I talked to you on new years day. You need to stay away from those underwater green lights that everyone is using there, I don't know why people use ...

also to note. freshwater is a problem, lines pushing under the boat or way off to the side no matter the tide or wind. Very true! Went out yesterday and it felt like there was always a very strong current even at slack tide. I thought it was the full moon. You did well on the snapper mate, everyone...

Re: THE FISH SPECIES YOU LEAST LIKE TO EAT

Salmon keeps in the fridge for a few days if you bled and gutted on the day when caught. The smaller ones up to 25cm are actually the better eating, they get their unique unpleasant taste as they get bigger.

I won't eat Basa though. Good thing you can't catch them here.

Here's a really hard one. These fish were bought by my friend's friend's landlord from an online store. Could be from anywhere but my guess is its not Australian.

I was asked to id them but I'm completely stumped.
