Sounds like a good option if it works well. Hopefully someone can shed some light, I've never seen a trailer set up like that myself.

What is your reasoning behind changing from keel rollers to a single bunk in the keel? You just mentioned the trailer needs some tlc. I can’t see it being better than centre rollers.

Great read Dougie. I’ve climbed down to the eves a couple times without a rope, very difficult with any more than one rod and a small backpack.

Stocky bass are the same, I think it is inbreeding. At times every second bass you get looks munted.

Try the yamashita tai kabura jigs and zetz slow blatts out there shaz. Keeps you occupied if the bait fishing is slow and they’ll often outfish the baits. I’ve done well on pinkies and all the other reefies.
