Good for up your way Dave. Not crash hot with light lures. Whack a good pe braid on and you'll have 2 decent cod casters for fairly cheap

If the Anodes look new with no decaying or discoloring at all after a year or so they are not doing what they are designed to do. If this is the case and the engine is mounted on an aluminum boat that's a serious problem, get out the multimeter and investigate what's happening. Google is your best ...

No problems after 9 months on a 140. Anodes still look brand new too. Further on duckys point, reasons I was told to run in gear is the pressure from the spinning prop pushes water into areas that might not have had flow should prop be stationary. Mx8 can have an affect on aluminum alloy parts, but fine for brass. I've picked my oils/greases over a few years from various sources. 3 or 3.5 is what I use. So the 90mm+ plus length. I do have a number of 2.5's I use purely for small squid bait collecting I am curious as to what part of the bay you fish? I fish mainly around werribee and have found that size 2.5 seems the best but i am only fishing up to 4 meters max, the south ...
