Re: whos where and doing what for NYE
I will be staying around home and not fishing at all! Currently not working until the fruit season starts so it has been one 'long weekend' for me. My great nephew's birthday falls on Dec 31st so I have that birthday party to attend from now on. Must say too the fishing here in Shepparton has not be...

Re: Line twist
With the reel in place on your rod and the line through the rod eyes as usual, tie a good quality ball bearing swivel to the end of your line. Anchor the swivel to something solid. Re: Your favourite Hardbody lure?
My favorite hardbody would be Rapala Countdowns or Original Floaters. My favorite color would be Firetiger. I use them in freshwater for trout and redfin.

Re: Fishing Tackle Boxing Day Sales
Went to Rays in South Morang today they had 26.5% off to vip members but as usual they had nothing of interest except for a few spare tent pegs. I would rather buy cheap crap fishing gear off ebay from china than the shizen! gear that rays sells. It's a pity because the camping side off things is p...

Re: Lake eppolock advice
Hi
No shortage of water there now - 93% capacity and slowly dropping. I have never fished the lake so I can't offer any advice but I am sure it would be worth a try. Redfin would most likely be your catch if fishing with lures.
thanks

Hi all!
I live in Shepparton. The majority of my fishing is done locally around the Goulburn and Broken Rivers. I also fish the irrigation channels and Waranga Basin near Rushworth. All of my fishing is shore based and I use lures and bait. Species of fish that I have caught are redfin, carp (of course) ,tr...
