The rocks at Cape Schanck?? Bit further around Mick...lot safer than the Schanck.. Yup, if it's a weekend, I'm more than likely in..possibly take some light gear to pick up a mullet or small sambo for a livey..? Ah k, I know of the rocks below the lighthouse there are some big Salmon to be had over...

Are you leaving your run a little late dougie? I have no idea. Never done this before and literally, am guessing as to whether or not it will work. Just like gummy hunting, I don't mind failing again and again and again and learning a way not to do it each time I fail. This place in particular -38....

^ pretty much my thoughts exactly. This will be my last major purchase for a while (cept maybe a bigger reel to go with it). Was missing a really long, powerful rod I can use for beach based shark or light LBG fishing. Have one of pretty much everything else, until I buy a boat.
