WOW azkay, what a great trip. I am jealous as.

I'm not sure Scott, that the fish identifier is useless, They got one.

Re: Jervis Bay Kingfish

Nicely done, kingies always provide some good fun no matter the size.

One suggestion. Turn off the fish identifier on your sounder. It’s essentially useless and you’ll have a much easier time identifying kings if you get used to seeing and reading the full sounder picture.

Re: What would you do to become debt free?

Hi all, I thought it was worth revisiting this, have a look at Labor's policies regarding capital gains tax and franking credit refunds. If they get in there seems to be no point busting your guts trying to get ahead so you can pay more tax. I think once you have paid off your house it is better to...

Re: Forgot the anchor

If the anchor didn’t free itself from the bottom you could’ve capsized your boat i guess.

That’s a fair effort

Re: Eden Boating

Launch at twofold bay, then you won’t have an issue. Mowarry point for kings is only a short run around the corner, 5m boat will be no problem on reasonable days. There are heaps of reefs off each point of the bay as well that is good for pinkies and mowong. (I used to fish eden out of a 4.5m quintr...

Re: Port Welshpool Long Jetty 14-16th Jan

Ha yeah I’ll be impressed if anyone lands a kingie off the jetty there. Plenty around but good luck with the pylons! Not to mention all the additional pylons underwater.

Great to see the jetty back open, a bit of life there again like the good old days

Nothing better than jigging away and suddenly hitting a wall, then having that wall go the other way, quickly!

Re: King spinning

Need to go bigger again  One thing with the kings, you might have better luck with a southerly, which will push all the bait and therefore fish in close to the rocks. Will make it harder to cast though..... You’ll get one eventually!! I've got a few of them just not this year. If you had ...
