I was having a problem with lure fishing with braid on the beach. I never get knots with mono but i did with braid. I put a decent rolling swivel on the lure and another one at the end of the leader, this helped a bit but i found that holding the lure up for 5 seconds at the end of the cast allowed ...

The problem is birds are a major spreader of fish eggs. You can put this in a pond but then a few weeks later some ducks bring carp eggs from an untreated source and you are back to square one. There are so many farm ponds that would need to be treated as well as major water sources i just cant see ...

They were rock dumping in the week out the front. Not sure what impact it will have on the waves but will be some useful structure.

Just got a Shimano TLD15. Bit of a compromise in that i can cast it off the rocks (just) and it will go well on the boat.

Worms are also effective b sure to use ur bait unweighted the spot cops ALOT of pressure! Mate, back in the uk there would be blokes camped out round a lake like this 24/7. The winds not been my friend this week but looking better for the weekend. Managed to have a quick session at Bushrangers this afternoon but conditions were not quite right. Still all helps to refine the approach and learn how to fish the place.
