Land based at bemm river is hard but not impossible, best after dark at the ramp. You will mostly get bream, with the odd luderick and EPs. Lakes entrance fishes better landbased during winter in my opinion, you have all the rivers (Tambo, Nicholson, etc) and local jetties around metung full of brea...

Usually around Christmas and Easter. Check the markets, when you start seeing lakes entrance prawns for sale then it's time

Theres some big ones in there. Try bait if you've never fished for bream before. Theres a small jetty/platform close to parking there but you really want to move up to the more hidden spots

Grilled goes pretty well. The meat is a little bit more tender than cala but similar flavour. Salt pepper and lime then onto the grill or oven, aim for a bit of char.

All between Central pier opposite Etihad stadium, around to the NAB building, to the Docklands library, even down to the end of north wharf down Collins st. Don't know about harbour town but don't see why they wouldn't be there too
