What are you planning on fishing for aboard the ski As in target species? It'll mainly be for lure fishing... I dunno if I'll bother bait fishing much on it. Guess it all comes down to individual preference can see it would be great for certain applications just don’t become one of those ski operators who races around too close to boaties. You may find a sinker fly towards you or better yet cook your ski with line getting sucked in. Definitely not buyin...

You won't change the $$$ much. Regardless of a fishing orientated ski, insurance for it is $800-$1k a year. Comparable priced boat capable of over 60km/h, $350-$500..... As much as I'd love a Fishpro, you could buy a $40k boat, service it, insure it, use it and hit break even costs with the much ch...
