Re: Security guards and fishing
You should make a sign saying “Fishing Allowed” and hang it on your yak then ask him if he can read. If they can make unofficial signage so can you. But anytime somebody tries to move you from a publicly accessible space, ask for identification. That guy seemed to have no uniform, no security insign...

Re: Which soft plastics in Port Phillip Bay to save your life !
If you're lucky, you might be able to find someone like that in one of the two major chain retailers, but I wouldn't count on it. As a general rule don't seek fishing advice from a store that also sells camping, hiking and 4WD gear. If you want good advice, get it from a store that sells fishing ge...

Re: Which soft plastics in Port Phillip Bay to save your life !
Going by everyone's input looks like any plastic will work in a whole variety of brands, colors and profiles. Just need to start using them and persist. Just like when someone starts out fishing and using bait, It all comes down to persistence and learning the technique Different plastics are more ...

Re: WHAT ARE THE WORST FISH TO EAT?
Basa that you buy from the supermarket for very cheap. I have tried cooking it many different ways. I don't like cooking a fish that has no taeste and it needs a ton of herbs and spices to make it taste like something that it is not. Whiting,Flathead ,Garfish,Gummy you don't really need to add anyt...

Re: Flounder
Check the regulations first, I'm pretty sure you can't use a spear near the mouth of a river or a pier.GregExplores wrote: ↑Tue Apr 14, 2020 12:38 amThanks mate! I might go give the mouth of Kananook creek a go and also Seaford pier after we are allowed to fish again, hopefully i don't run into any stingrays!

Re: Corona virus part 2
The government is damned if they do and damned if they dont. If they put a complete shut down in place and nothing major eventuates from the virus people will complain that it wasn't necessary to have a complete shutdown with such a devastating economic impact. Yeah. If we get through corona with m...
Re: I'm out.
How the hell did you not get banned for a week or more. The hate speech and verbal abuse should have been enough, but the specific and violent threat against another forum member was almost criminal. I guess it's OK now if we threaten to kick each others heads in, as long as we don't use a swear wo...
