Re: New bloke here!

I'm only new myself but have learnt a bunch from the forums a...

Re: Which is the least of all evils

I like a curry made out of salmon, its the only reason I fish for them.

Couta is nice if you get them a decent size, otherwise you won't need to floss for a while, the bones'll clean your teeth out.

Re: Mid week itches

I might have to sneak down to sandringham or brighton tonight to have a bit of a crack. Might also be able to have a bit of a go Saturday night. Got a party on tomorrow night and a busy day Sunday so might struggle the rest of the weekend.

I've neve...

Re: plenty of ink no squid.....

Re: Melbourne landbased

So, Went out last night, hit up brighton pier at about 12:30am, fished the second hut from the beach. Was pretty quiet but had a patch at about 1:30 where I got 4 pinkies over about half an hour. They we're all too small and then there was nothing except one hit on casting that screamed out, but I d...

Melbourne landbased

Hi, I'm new here. Been fishing on and off for years but have a job and cash to spend on fishing gear now. Fish mostly landbased but get out on the water whenever I can scrounge a spot on the old mans boat. Done a fair bit of estuary fishing up around bowen/bundaberg/noosa in QLD and a little bit dow...
