52cm, 3kg 6.6LB Yella on a size 2 stumpy at Cairn Curran this afternoon. The Algae is still a problem but we just fish the opposite end to which the wind is blowing the algae.

Enough room for another? I'd like to come along, any reason to go fishing is good enough for me.

Re: Laanecoorie Res
talking to people re. Cairn Curran. Seems the deeper water is ok. its the shallower water around Welshmans Reef thats affected. I fished near the ski area and wall last week and was shocked to see families skiing and swimming amongst water with green floating algae floating around getting mixed up ...

The river below the wall fishes pretty good at times for yells and cod, well worth a look. Do you have a boat, yak or landbased?

Awesome stuff. It's on my "go to" bucket list, seeing this makes me want to organize a trip next chance I get. Thanks for the effort.

Tassie Charters???????
My family and I are heading to Tassie in January and I'm looking for a GOOD charter to go on. Anyone on here able to recommend a charter that will put us on the fish?? We're staying in Hobart but I'm willing to drive to get on a good boat that'll stretch my arms.

The fella that owned the 420 renegade said "busy drinking beers and couldn't be bothered" no sympathy from me at all.
