went for a quick flick on Sat morning, weather was on our side as the rain appeared to be over WP & further down over Gippsland, we had sun for the morning. Persevered with bait for a couple of hours at the entrance for donuts, so decided to go for a walk with some soft plastics, picked up 5 trevall...

I've used carp fillets for a few years, catch them in Dande creek, quick run over to remove the scales & fillet with skin on. Have caught a few gummies & schoolies on them. They have a bit of natural oil in them and when frozen with some extra tuna oil, they are a great strip bit.

try the beach of ventnor rd, i think its called Flynns Beach. fished off here last weekend in a boat, we had a great session on the incoming tide.
not sure on the beach access along there.
