Worms, earth worms are actually rather interesting, mainly because there are many different species. The old tiger worm is reportedly not the best to go fishing with.
My favourite worm for catching trout was a scrub worm only found in the high country like Cooma, Adaminaby.

I need a deckie like that.Lightningx wrote: ↑Mon May 15, 2017 1:02 pmWhat a nightmare! My mate always brings everything without me even saying. If it's a night session he will bring dinner, drinks. Day lunch water, all bait and burley and helps wash and pack the boat so I can't complain.

Re: Fishing around the Aquaculture lease.
I have seen people fishing next to the one at Safety Beach a lot, never seen anyone right in the floats though. If you hooked anything decent you'd end up getting tangled anyway. Sitting down current and letting burley drift through it should be fine though. Fishing there can be very good, if they ...

Re: Beach fishing around PPB?
Hi All Since it's nearing winter and the salmon are beginning to show up, I wanted to have a go at fishing from the beach. It looks like heaps of fun, but since I'm in bayside and I don't have my own car yet getting to an ideal place like Gunnamatta or Venus bay is pretty much off the table unfortu...

You don't know what you don't know
Fishing, and it doesn't matter what type of fishing, is mostly a matter of trial and error unless you are fortunate to have a mentor who is willing to teach you what they know. Lately, on the Tuna, I have not been having much luck. One error I made on reflection was at Cape Bridgewater we sounded a ...

Re: RWD Towing big boats?
Thanks for all the replies, I never though about tow ball weight, as I was told you just want to have an evenly balanced boat, not have a lot of weight on the front of the trailer. Thanks for the help and others' experiences with such vehicles/boats, I'll keep this in mind when I am looking for tha...

Re: RWD Towing big boats?
Perhaps the first question should have been. What is your tow ball weight?
If it too light then not enough pressure is being applied to the tow ball and hence the rear wheels.

Re: RWD Towing big boats?
Yes but I was wondering if there was a point where there is a benefit from a heavier boat for more weight on the wheels, because of course too much weight becomes harder to pull, but was wondering if too little weight on the rear wheels would also be limiting If your car is delicate on wet roads, t...

Re: RWD Towing big boats?
Hi there, I have a holden crewman with 2500kg towing capacity, and was wondering if this converts to the same for launching a boat, as I love the car and don't want to upgrade and want to know what it is probably capable of, couldn't find much of this online, except to bring kitty litter if you sta...
