A a fisherman that travels internationally very frequently I have had mixed issues with taking fishing rods. All other tackle as long as it is in your checked in baggage (not your cabin bag) has never been a problem as has 3-piece rods. Different airports have different security standards though and...

Congratulations what a fish Adrian and on 4lb mono as well - you should be truly proud of that fish and also close to 650 for the season. You will be aiming for that magic 10lb mark next :a_goodjob:

Congratulations Adrian - after more than 600 mainly 400 - 500 gram fish it must have been a real buzz catching and releasing a magnificent wild river trout of that size.

The report said it was dead but fresh so had died within a few hours of being found.

This Flathead definitely had eyes too big for its belly. The Bream was 45 cm. From East Gippsland Fishing Reports.
