Re: Building in a rural area
You obviously just went to the standard volume builders. Can't help you on exactly how much extra the build is. But it's nothing extreme. Cost of land is considerably cheaper so way in front that way. If you get serious they will be able to tell how much it will cost. Probly a lazy salesman not inte...

Re: shimano stradic ci4 4000 vs daiwa bg 3000
My mate has a diawa bg. I think 6000. I've got a sustain 5000 which I love. I much prefer my shimano over his diawa and mine has done more work than his. I no its not a stadic but it's similar. So I'd got with the shimano personally. Both are quality reels so go with what feels best for you on the ...

Re: Bungalow Demolition
Just get a bigger hammer! :a_goodjob: Seriously though. Boards off with a jimmy bar, pry bar etc. how are the floor boards fixed down? Tongue n groove? Do you plan on using them again. I'd get 1 up some how. Maybe bash a chisel in to get the first 1 up. Than use a crow bar and block to pry them up. ...

Re: What would you do to become debt free?
I'd say pros far out weigh the cons. No idea exactly where abouts you are but its only 3.5 hours to Melbourne from lakes. Debt free or close to. Better neck of the woods. Better fishing without millions of people casting over you. Bush and beach on your door step what more could you want. Or even be...

Re: How`s Mallacoota fishing
I never get sick of catching those sambos from the surf with metals  No tailors? All sambos? Yeah good fun on light gear. I only use my small bass gear so makes for a bit of fun when you hook a decent fish. Na no tailor for me or my mate. Seen a fella cleaning a solid tailor out of the la...

Re: How`s Mallacoota fishing
Up here this long weekend. Havnt fished much as its a family weekend away. Couple of flicks off the beach though with plenty of salmon about. All on metals. No big ones only small though but still fun on light gear.
Fellas camped next to us got few decent flatties in the lake.

Re: Mono or wire trace??
Stick with the mono. Switch to wire and get no bites or run mono and get bitten off a few times. I'll take the second option. Do you use circle hooks? If they do there job properly shouldn't get bitten off.
