The one I have has to be looked after very carefully. After every use it needs to be wiped dry even the handle of the knife and then the blade needs to be wrapped in dry paper. image.jpg That looks fancy as man... Getting a second hand branded kayak means you are getting a yak backed by a brand who has spent thousands on r & d. You are buying quality. Also, resale will better than any brand new eBay kayak. I have Laguna rods. 1-2lb I use on bream, trout and pinkies. Bloody good fun but fragile. I broke 2 but was my fault. High stick one and the other in a door jamb. Enjoy mate

I have heard of a few areas in NSW where the locals target the "tourists" which I don't get because people who visit the town spend money there...

Cracking effort mate well done. Salmon on SP is the best fun. I honestly rate it better, especially on light gear, than snapper in terms of sheer enjoyment.
