Re: Winter water entry/launch - methods and footwear
I,ve worn shoes with drain holes in soles and side vents, they are called reef walkers by Land And Sea Sports @$40. Absolutely ideal for launching, can never understand why blokes do it all with bare feet on slippery rough ramps. Water too cold at the moment but the thought occurred that if you got ...

Re: A few ideas

Unfortunately something, plastic bag?, covered the intake and I wasn,t aware till smoke(steam) showed. Needed a tow and replaced water pump and impellor. Generally carr...

Re: How to use Lazer trolling sinker
When used for trolling, the purpose of these weights is to push the lure down deeper. To achieve this ,the fat end which has the wings inclined down is at the front or rod end, This causes water pressure against the wings to angle the sinker down. Never tried them the other way around but logically ...

Re: Through the heads and cruising Bass Strait
I,m not an experienced Rip man and cannot attempt to advise you. However,as with all things connected with boating and particularly on “big” water, I reckon you take or go with an experienced bloke, listen to him and watch how he goes about it.Not to suggest you are a novice, I have no idea, but best...

Re: Security guards and fishing
Patterson River Canals Frank, I went in there once with a tinnie and got hunted, didn,t know enough at the time to argue.
Still not sure if it,s law but we see plenty of reports about big Bream in there.
Must be someone on this forum who can spell it out for us.

Re: St Kilda Seal
Caught a seal of Montague Island years ago, caused a deal of mirth as I thought it was a big fish initially.
Was well known around Narooma, when he came up, looked like a mouth full of spaghetti with all the busted lines hanging off.
Pretty funny at the time.
