Re: rigs

Buy all the items you need and the next time its raining and your stuck at home tie your own. Its more enjoyable catching fish on rigs you made up yourself also less strain on the hip pocket.

Be wary of pre tied rigs you don't want to loose a fish of a lifetime due to a knot giving way.

Re: Dangerous Behaviour Werribee South Boat Ramp

This is shocking behavior. For those of you who leave the tow bar on the car all the time don't bother with a locking pin or trying to use a small padlock where the split pin goes. Take the large locking pin with you to a bolt supplier and purchase a heavy duty bolt of the same size. Purchase the bo...

Then clean off all the old grease with a paint brush and put it all together with new grease. Should be...

Re: Tips On Squid Fishing?

Take a few different colored jigs with you to cover all options as certain colours work better on some days. If your fishing fast flowing areas you will need a larger size jig such as 3.5 or 4.

Also if your not keen on working jigs use squid spikes baited with silver whiting under a float.

Re: How to launch retrieve with no jetty

If your worried about the pebbles damaging the hull the only thing I can think of is wearing a pair of waders and when the boat is off the trailer drop the anchor down in water deep enough for the boat while you go and park the car. Same thing when you come back.
