I really like the idea of stocking natives in freshwater. I would like to see the family fishing lakes more heavily patrolled during stocking times and until the end of the following school holidays. Yup, it's always been like that. Check out Karkarook park in moorabin if you're looking for a family friendly place to fish close to Melbourne, best of the local lakes in my opinion.
