Hey gang. Been mia for a while due to work n family commitments. Hope we r all well n catching plenty! I’ve been overworked n time poor so with the spare day a week I have been getting I have been plugging away setting up my boat how I want it n I’m happy to say.. it’s setup n ready to hit the water...

Surface for cod year round! Less bites in winter but still produces fish Thanks Big Gav. Should I be targeting the shallows up to 5 metres? Or they hit surface around deep water area too? Say the rockwall 10m+ deep. Not to say it won’t happen.. but I would normally only be casting surface up to 4 m...

So small stick baits walk the dog type lures are a good start? I’ve got a handful of topwater baits I could use for bass.. got plenty of hard bodies (I assume they would take whatever Redfin will)

Am I right to stick em with a 1-2 kg rod n a 1000 or beef up with a 2-5 n 2500?

500gram bait is huge but like he said I’m excited to see the size of baits to hit the Australian market in years to come! Big cod fishos are gonna be part time body builders haha
