That's a great looking dam thanks, Senoir, ill take some pictures of it and post them. hoping to stock it with yellas, bass, silver perch and possibly Murray cod. there's mosquito fish and red fin in it, so i think i will let the musqito fish get eaten by the redfin and other fish when i stock it. ...

I would just stick with the rod you have for now until you've caught a few fish on it and have a better idea what you want for your style of fishing

What fly patterns do you guys use for carp? I used to keep things pretty basic with a few different weights and colours of wooly worms. I used to go to sugarloaf specifically to target the carp on flies and plastics. They are awesome fun on light gear
