Re: tim neville arboretum
Don't know what the secret is to getting those big buggers to bite, but I plan to keep trying I :dontknow either :( I don't think I've been successful in sight-casting one at TNA at all. Closest I've come is catching one (40-50cm from memory) over the big blobs of mud they stir up and a few seconds...

Re: INXS fans popping out of the woodwork.
I don't listen to music much these days, but thought that TV movie thingy was pretty good. Was never really a huge fan of INXS so therefore refrained from buying/downloading/listening to any of there stuff...although I must say I tend to be hearing them a bit more on the radio these days... And yes,...

Re: Bicycles
Hey Dougie, I have a bike as my main means of transportation. I would recommend Reid Cycles - they're like one step up from K-Mart bikes in that they're affordable but half-decent and they have a range of models to choose from: http://www.reidcycles.com.au/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return fa...

Used to be cool...
I bet you don't even use K-Mart gear now that you're targeting natives. I bet you've sold out and bought some fancy Big-W gear or something :tease:

Re: Ethical fishing?
I reckon just fishing for Carp is pretty ethical, considering I'm not crazy about eating fish... This thread also reminds me of that Mark Zuckerberg guy 'eating only what he kills'... http://postcards.blogs.fortune.cnn.com/2011/05/26/mark-zuckerbergs-new-challenge-eating-only-what-he-kills/" onclick...

Re: Top 10 Carp fishing spots round Melbourne
If you 'give up' the forum member who fished it during daylight hours(interested if they copped a fine) I'l give you the time's you can fish there to avoid(reduce) detection by security patrol... I kept my end of the bargain... Time for you to tell me appropriate fishing times, hours of secu...

Re: Top 10 Carp fishing spots round Melbourne
Is this some sort of a test to see if I'm a snitch? The forum member didn't really hide the fact he was fishing at 'lakeside drive' as evidenced by this thread: http://www.fishing-victoria.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=8291" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; And from what I can gather, no, he...

Re: Top 10 Carp fishing spots round Melbourne
This thread is giving me ideas... Who polices this waterway? Is it the council or the security guards? (Or both?) And what time is 'late' enough to possibly avoid detection? I know of a forum member that fished it in broad daylight, but I don't feel like copping a $350 fine as the sign states
