Re: Lakes Entrance
Try Lake Tyres, one of my favourite fishing spots! Try Mill Point, Fisherman's Landing or Burnt Bridge if you are landbased.
I've heard the Lakes are effected by algae (as stated above) at the moment but not sure if the Tambo or Nicholson Rivers are fishable, does anyone know?

Just a reminder, there's only today and tomorrow left to get your orders in to be in with a chance to win a Plano tackle box filled with over $200 of goodies!
Wouldn't that be a nice Christmas present to yourself?

Re: Win Stuff...
Hi CDC,
The Hot Shotz rigs are armed with Senshi Mutsu Recurve hooks (which is pretty much a Circle hook design).
They're Chemically Sharpened and super strong, if they can handle NZ fish they'll cope ok with anything we have here!
Cheers,
Cam.

Noice! I'm sure your wife will forget about the rods come Christmas morning when she gets her present. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it, my Lenser H14 will be here any day now and I'm sure the Minister of Finance, Internal Affairs and Piscatorial Ventures will forget about it once she sees he...

Re: Shimano Aqua Tip
Yeah, I know it sounds like a bargain and it probably is if you were to buy it for it's intended purpose!
I'm sure with a bit of hunting around you could find something in a similar price range in a 7-8 foot / 8-10kg or 10-12kg rod to suit your purposes a lot better.
