I thought they had the investigation and found that removing to much vegetation over a large area of river was the cause ?

The willow removing saga replacing them with native trees that were too slow growing? left the fish exposed ?

Back in the day when the huge schools of couta would visit the old wooden Lorne pier you could catch them all day long on Halco or pilchard lures till your arms felt like they would fall off... looking into the water you would see up to half a dozen couta fighting to get in front of each other to ge...

It's the OL ninja side step crawl duck and weave make like a statue and a lightning fast dash to the shed door ! phew ! puff puff puff made it !
