Having the ability to cast further just gives you more options on where you can go to target the various species. Also by being able to get out further will allow you to find out what else is on the beach other than the regular Salmon , Mullet , etc . Like this little snapper which were holding out ...

Got caught up with work and haven't been out fishing or casting for the last two weeks.

I have decided to take the rod to work so that I can get out at lunch time for a few casts.
