Re: Might Clarify a few things.

The big question is, is it advice or legally enforceable law? We get different information from the deputy chief health officer, transport safety Victoria, VRFish and the water police. This goes a lot deeper than just fishing. It seems a deliberate ploy to obfuscate and blur the lines between what ...

They also told me that fishing is not an approved activity to leave the house for and they will be issuing move on orders or fines...

Re: Non essential fish today.

Well the police understanding of the legislation is appears to be incorrect. Fishing is legal as confirmed by VFA accroding to VRfish although the updated post appears to cause further confusion.... and Tim Quilty elected member of the VIC state government. "Please feel free to share this around to...

Re: Corona virus part 2

By the way everyone, VRFish is not a government department and their advice probably shouldn’t be used as a source when considering the legalities of your actions. They don’t make the laws.

Re: Corona virus part 2

It has been verified by VRfish that fishing is still allowed in VIC. The purpose if obtaining food. I really hope you’re correct. Can you provide a link please? I wonder if VRFish consulted with the Deputy Chief Health officer before publishing that. Haha. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. Edit: ...

Re: Corona virus part 2

nothing like conflicting messages to confuse people Yes it is conflicting but the whole response to this pandemic from government has felt like we’ve been gaslighted from the beginning. And sadly, in this case it’s a state law thing and we don’t live in QLD. There wasn’t much wriggle room left to b...
