That whole stretch of river from Murchison to Kialla is good to hit up for a session whether its morning, arvo or even night (when the bigger ones come out to play). We usually end up closer to Kialla.
Worms, cheese, shrimp, corn & yabbies all work.

Didn't catch anything else but might be heading back in the next few days before I go back to work on the 11th
Total was 5 cod, 2 silvers, 1 carp.

I go fishing for the first time in god knows how long and what's the first thing I catch? A carp. Corn did the damage last time.. havent fished it since I went down with Amanda & boyf one arvo and Amanda actually got bites off the bait tube stuffed with DOUBLE CHOCOLATE CHIP MUFFINS! But that was yonks ago

:thumbsup: All the suggestions above Shrimp are another option, putting a few on the one hook can get the attention of fishies but you would be aiming for cod/carp with a larger mouth than say a reddie or yella with the small mouths.
