I wouldn't pick line class rating for my rod choice , better would be the casting rating and then match to what you want to use for your fishing.However if targeting Salmon, Mullet and tailor I would go the lighter route . If targeting Snapper , Mulloway and Gummies then the heavier model to handle ...

I won the comp with casts at 233+ meters on the 100 , 125 and 150 gram . John hit new PB's and made it into the 200+ meter club . Very happy man and good casting given the tough conditions.

BM , fish was bled and spiked and then processed into fillets within an hour of capture as wanted it in the best state for eating

Congratulations on the capture , as you have taken the picture with the fish against your rod just measure the distance from that against your rod and that will get you close to the actual measure .
