You could try a paternoster whole bait on a squid spike. It was successful for us off the portland breakwall. i have tow of them so will give a go. i only ever use a single dropper paternoster rig so i will give it a go next time that heavy feel happens again this was mondays catch of pinkys i thro...

Rui has one but at times you need at least 4oz to get down , monday would have been good to try as i was only using 2oz for a lot of the time . and the funny thing is i had a box with 13 or so jigs in it and didn't even think of getting one out man o man i hate this getting older crap . their nothin...
